NOTE: ALL WORKSHOP DEMOS ARE DIFFERENT FROM SHADES OF FALL 1 (NOV 09 AND 12)
"If one says "Red"(the name of a color) and there are 50 people listening, it can be expected that there will be 50 reds in their minds. And one can be sure that all these reds will be very different"J. Albers
Have you ever wondered how to paint crystal vases in watercolor?
Do you know how to paint what is inside the crystal or what is beyond it?
Do you know how to suggest reflections in the crystal vase?
Which colors can be chosen to paint metallic shine in watercolor?
Do you know how to mix vibrant shades of red?
Would you like to paint loose florals with confidence?
This new workshop is focused on how to paint red roses and berries.
I will also show two flower arrangements with different vases: a still life with Murano Glass Crystal Vase and another flower arrangement with a Silver Vase.
I will keep on talking about Color Theory: every participant will receive a color chart with the best color mixings for red flowers, berries, colorful crystals, and silver.
What can be more exciting?
Painting a dimensional crystal vase with all its reflections, colors, transparency, and the sparkling of glass?
A still life with silver vase and flowers with all silver color mixings depicted?
Or mixed red roses painted loosely?
I think that all subjects are amazing: this workshop is suitable for those who want to learn about flower painting, color theory, different still life subjects (crystal and silver), and composition. There is also a berry demo: fall is the perfect season for this subject too!
