“Follow the river and you will find the sea.” – French Proverb
My new workshop is also about an artist's journey through France: in the second episode, I will visit a different town in Provence (Roussillon), the French Coast (Brittany), and Paris again, the City of Lights.
I want to visit the beautiful coastline of Britany to experience this beautiful Celtic region treasured by the French. What can be more inspiring than visiting picturesque medieval fishing villages nestled in bays along the Atlantic coastline?!
Yes, this workshop is about France with an emphasis on Seascape painting. We will explore boats, reflections, seascapes, and composition.
I will also stop in Roussillon, Provence, ranked as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The red, yellow, and brown shades of the earth form a striking contrast with the lush green pine trees.
We can’t visit France without visiting Paris so let’s paint a sunset view of Paris bridges.
One more subject is included: daffodils, one of my favorite flowers. If you understand how I paint flowers you will understand my painting process.
Can’t wait to visit France again! Join my new art journey!
