“Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all" (S.Horowitz)

This new workshop is also focused on my favorite season of the year: fall, a color feast for any painter.

Late summer and autumn is the berry high season so this time I want to explore different berries: the dark blackberries, the red hawthorn berries, the also red rosehips used in medicine, and the blue/purple/gray blueberry.

We will talk about all berries colors (how to suggest, for example, the black color without using black), how to make a good composition with berries and leaves, and how to suggest fall leaves.

I will also paint a flower arrangement with fall colors. Different flowers will be included in the fall bouquet : rose, peony, hydrangea, eucalyptus, small wild flowers, fall leaves and berries, of course.
What else can we paint in November? As we are visiting a garden, we will paint the blueberries blossom, so one more flower demo is scheduled for the second session

All participants will also receive a color chart with my favorite fall colors (individual colors and autumnal mixings and combinations).
