Hello everybody! Happy Fall (or Spring) to you all!
Fall Workshops, US and Canada
I’d like to thank everybody who had attended my workshops last August-September-October. It was really exciting, a challenge for me: one workshop each week, different places and time zones in US and Canada but you made it so enjoyable! I will be back to some of these amazing loctions (Bend OR, Montague MI in 2018 and Madeline Island WI and Vancouver BC Canada in 2019).

About My Technique/ My Personal Experience
A few tips about composition:
*Simplify, edit what you see. It’s your personal approach that makes your work unique.Paint the reflection of the subject in your mind, not the subject itself. Be creative.
*Pay attention to the bigger shapes. Don’t start working every tiny detail. Leave something for the viewer’s imagination.
*Think about unity and variety at the same time. Add interesting intervals and connect shapes, repeat colors, textures and brush strokes.
I am glad to share with you that I will be back to some of my favorite venues in 2018: Metairie/ New Orleans LA, New York NY and Kinsale (Ireland).
Let’s see, there are two great workshop destinations in US, next winter:
Metairie, New Orleans LA: January 23 to 26, David Art Center. We will paint flowers, landscapes and New Orleans balconies! Nearly full. Information and registration, please email to Barbara Otey, email@example.com
Myrtle Beach SC: February 05 to 08, Art Myrtle Beach LLC. My first visit to South Carolina, looking forward to painting there!Nearly full. Information and registration, please email Rebecca Zydel, firstname.lastname@example.org
